Skincare

Some of us are blessed with gorgeous, perfectly clear skin. Others suffer from acne, eczema, sensitivity, and most importantly, the reduced confidence as a result of our skin.

But no more! Healthy skin should be available to all, regardless of conditions, genders, and budget.

Skincare principles: the basic 4's.

After years of personal inquiry in curing my sensitive, eczema-prone skin, I've simplified the steps

We all need:

1-  Have a gentle cleanser suited for our skin type.

2- Have a gentle moisturizer suited for our skin type.

3- If it is daytime, we need to apply a broad-spectrum SPF  to our face and neck area. It prevents against wrinkles, signs of aging, and sun spots.

4- A light chemical exfoliant

5- For the individuals who wear makeup (especially face makeup), you need either an oil-based cleanser, a makeup remover, or a makeup "eraser" pad.

A sample routine looks like this:

In the A.M.: Light cleanse, moisturizer, sunscreen. If you choose, apply makeup at this stage.

In the P.M.: (If applied makeup or heavy sunscreen): oil-based cleanser/ makeup remover, cleanser, exfoliant, moisturizer.

Once we have our basis covered, we can, if we feel inclined to, have fun with new products for additional benefits.

  • Serums to our routines (Vitamin C,...)
  • Exfoliants
  • Treatments (scar fading, anti-aging, active acne, retinols,...)
  • Oils
